Meet The Management
J. David Mason
Mr. Mason graduated with a B.A.Sc.
from the University of Toronto in 1967 (Engineering & Economic geology), and from McGill University in 1969
with M. Eng. (Mining), specializing in management sciences and mineral economics. His work experience in the
mineral business included positions with Noranda Mines and Rio Algom as well as being a policy analyst for the
Ontario Government. Mr. Mason spent 25 years in the investment business of which 10 years was as a Mining
Analyst (Wood Gundy & Walwyn Inc.), approximately 11 years in corporate finance, plus IDA Member Firm
branch management, and four years as an advisor to individual investors. |
